I am constantly revising my understanding of what it means to be in relationship with someone or something. As an artist I choreograph sculptural interactions through the creation of objects, images, written word and performances that strive to offer an alternative set of tools for dealing with common relational issues such as forgiveness, empathy, loss and communication. My final works live as sculptures, photographs, installations, performances and printed matter.
I received my MFA from the University of Michigan and my BFA from the Columbus College of Art and Design, with a focus in glass and print media. My work has been exhibited and published both nationally and internationally, and I am currently living in the Bay Area of California.
